(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
