Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of Zaqqum will indeed be 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides. 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 Therefore We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue. They may haply take a warning. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
