And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
