The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
