WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then indeed We shall drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against the Most Beneficent (Allah). 69 We know best who deserves greater suffering in hell fire. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
