The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Beneficent Allah, 1 Hath made known the Qur'an. 2 Created man, 3 He taught him eloquent speech. 4 The sun and the moon move according to a fixed reckoning; 5 And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 so that you should not transgress the measure. 8 And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight. 9 And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures. 10 Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm-trees, 11 And grain chaffed and other food. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He created man of clay like, unto pottery. 14 And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 18 He has let forth the two seas, they meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier, which they do not overrun. 20 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 And His are the lofty ships that sail like [floating] mountains through the seas. 24 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 25
