The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 And by those who gently draw out the souls of the blessed, 2 By the angels who glide swimmingly, 3 And by those that press forward as in a race (i.e. the angels or stars or the horses, etc.). 4 and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands). 5 Upon the day when the first blast shivers 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 Hearts that Day will be in agitation; 8 while eyes will be downcast. 9 They say, "What? shall we be brought back to life, 10 When we have become bones decayed! 11 They say: "It would, in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 When his Lord called to him in Tuwa's holy vale? 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 Then say thou: wouldst thou to be purified? 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High". 24 you pay attention 25 Truly there is a lesson in this for those who fear (the consequences). 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
