Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 preferring the present life, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
