Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
