The Town (Al-Balad)
20 verses, revealed in Mecca after Q (Qaaf) before The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ I swear by this city, Makkah - 1 this city wherein you have been rendered violable– 2 and by parent and offspring, 3 We have indeed created man surrounded by hardships. 4 Does he, then, think that no one has power over him? 5 He says (boastfully): "I have wasted wealth in abundance!" 6 Does he, then, think that no one sees him? 7 Did We not assign unto him two eyes 8 a tongue, and two lips? 9 And did We not show him the two highroads (of good and evil)? 10 But he would not attempt the uphill road, 11 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Ascent is! - 12 It is the freeing of a slave; 13 Or the feeding on a day of hunger. 14 to an orphaned relative 15 Or a poor man cleaving to the dust. 16 the believers who cooperate with others in patience (steadfastness) and kindness. 17 Their place will be on the right hand. 18 whereas those who are bent on denying the truth of Our messages - they are such as have lost themselves in evil, 19 who will be engulfed in the fire. 20
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
