We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night.
