And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them without purpose! That is the consideration of those who disbelieve! Then woe to those who disbelieve (in Islamic Monotheism) from the Fire! 27 [For,] would We treat those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds in the same manner as [We shall treat] those who spread corruption on earth? Would We treat the God-conscious in the same manner as the wicked? 28 (It is) a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful. 29 And We bestowed on David, Solomon. How excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (toward Allah). 30 When his dressage steeds were presented to him in the evening, 31 He said: "The love of horses is worthy of desire to me for the remembrance of my Lord;" and when they were out of sight, (he said): 32 (he ordered): “Bring these horses back to me,” and then he began to gently stroke their shanks and necks. 33 And verily We tried Solomon, and set upon his throne a (mere) body. Then did he repent. 34 He said, 'My Lord, forgive me, and give me a kingdom such as may not befall anyone after me; surely Thou art the All-giver.' 35 Then We subjected the wind to his power, so that it blew gently, at his behest, wherever he willed, 36 And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver 37 And also others bound in fetters. 38 We said: "This is Our gift, so give or withhold as you wish without reckoning." 39 Indeed an exalted position of nearness awaits him and an excellent resort. 40
