۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
