WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 On the right and on the left, in groups? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 By no means! For they know very well out of what We have created them (The human being's naturally growing from a living germ, without discipline and good deeds will not result in virtue). 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them by those better than them; and none can escape from Us. 41 Wherefore let thou them alone plunging in vanity and sporting until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 A day when they will come out of the graves in haste, as if rushing towards their goals. 43 with downcast eyes and faces distorted in shame; such is the Day which they are promised. 44
