▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning unto humankind 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 in Gardens they will question 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
