The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
