The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
