۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
