The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
