Indeed the tree of Zaqqum, – 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
