We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
