Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
