Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 and the burden-bearers 2 and the smooth runners 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask: "When is the Day of Judgement?" -- 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good; 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 And in your own souls (too); will you not then see? 21 In heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, it is the truth, even as (it is true) that ye speak. 23
