The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
