Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
