O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time: 60 Accursed – to be caught wherever found and to be slain thoroughly. 61 Such has been God's way with those who have gone before them. You shall find no change in the ways of God. 62 PEOPLE will ask thee about the Last Hour. Say: "Knowledge thereof rests with God alone; yet for all thou knowest, the Last Hour may well be near!" 63 God has cursed the unbelievers, and prepared for them a Blaze, 64 Wherein they will abide for ever, and they will find neither a Wali (a protector) nor a helper. 65 On that Day when their faces are turned about in the Fire, they shall say: 'Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger' 66 And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way. 67 O our Lord! give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse. 68
