Hizb 46
< random >
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 when he ran away to the laden ship 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 What, would they then say: 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it shall descend in their court, evil shall then be the morning of the warned ones. 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 and see [them for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
