Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
