The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A burning fire. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
