The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
