Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
