Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 And raised high your fame? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
