The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
