Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
