Have you seen the one who turned away 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
