Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
