Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7
God the Almighty always says the truth.
