And the disbeliever says, "When I have died, am I going to be brought forth alive?" 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
