۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
