Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path, 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
