(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 And you are lost in play! 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
