The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Allah, the Most Gracious 1 Has taught the Qur’an to His beloved Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him). 2 He created man. 3 He taught him eloquent speech. 4 The sun and the moon move according to a fixed reckoning; 5 And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration. 6 And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), 7 In order that you may not transgress (due) balance. 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 Therein are fruits and palm trees with sheaths, 11 And grain having husks and scented plants. 12 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man of clay like, unto pottery. 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 16 Lord of both the Easts, and Lord of both the Wests! 17 Which of the powers of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 18 He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together, 19 but has created a barrier between them so that they will not merge totally. 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 Pearls and corals come from both. 22 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 23 Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
