When God said, 'Jesus, I will take thee to Me and will raise thee to Me and I will purify thee of those who believe not. I will set thy followers above the unbelievers till the Resurrection Day. Then unto Me shall you return, and I will decide between you, as to what you were at variance on. 55 I shall sternly punish the unbelievers in this life and in the life to come and no one will help them. 56 And as to those who believe and do good deeds, He will pay them fully their rewards; and Allah does not love the unjust. 57 THIS MESSAGE do We convey unto thee, and this tiding full of wisdom: 58 Verily, in the sight of God, the nature of Jesus is as the nature of Adam, whom He created out of dust and then said unto him, "Be" - and he is. 59 This is the truth from your Lord; be not, then, among those who doubt. 60 And if anyone should argue with thee about this [truth] after all the knowledge that has come unto thee, say: "Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray [together] humbly and ardently, and let us invoke God's curse upon those [of us] who are telling a lie." 61 This is the true story (of Jesus). There is no Lord but God. It is God who is Majestic and All-wise. 62 But if they turn away, then Allah is Knower of the corrupters. 63
