The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 [And they will be told:] "This is the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false - the Day] which you were wont to call a lie!" 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
