We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
