Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
