▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
