The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
