Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
