And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 "Every obstructor of good, transgressor, and the sceptic, 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His companion will say: O our Lord! caused him not to transgress but he was himself in error far off. 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
